Mahesh Ramakrishnan is the founder of Mahamaya Dogs, a nonprofit organization committed to the rescue, care, and dignity of street dogs in India and New York City. Prior to starting Mahamaya, Mahesh built a distinguished career in investing and entrepreneurship. He worked at Goldman Sachs and later at a global investment fund before establishing EV3, a venture capital firm that supports entrepreneurs developing the next generation of internet infrastructure and identity solutions. His professional journey has consistently reflected his belief in long-term vision, resilience, and compassion—values that also anchor Mahamaya’s mission. Mahesh Ramakrishnan studied at Harvard College and Harvard Business School, where he was actively engaged in academics and student-led initiatives. He now divides his time between the United States and India, while remaining deeply connected to the dogs of Mahamaya—each one a testament to the love, loyalty, and dignity that animals bring into our lives. He is a lifelong vegetarian and a dedicated advocate for animal rights.
