Pulsed seed lasers with a single frequency have many applications for precision optics, sensing environments, and communication. Many seed laser designs generate a high degree of power and coherence, but can be produced to be safe under controlled conditions. A pulsed single frequency seed laser that incorporates built-in safety systems can detect unsafe conditions that would cause it to automatically switch off or stop emitting light immediately.
