In this video—LEXICON Series, Part 8—I share the full collection of all eight abstract acrylic and mixed-media paintings. Every piece began as a very ugly slopboard, and now the series is nearly complete. In Part 8, I show where the work currently stands and explain when and how I sand, the materials I use, and why sanding printed papers before sealing them is essential. I also dive into glazing—covering color choices, application techniques, and how to remove glaze effectively.
